Join us at the Hamline Elite Meet to watch St. Paul's 5th and 6th graders race 100 meters for the title of St. Paul's Fastest Kid!
When: Saturday, April 24, 2010
Where: Klas Stadium, Hamline University, St. Paul, MN
This year we are continuing the St. Paul's Fastest Kid! Race during the Hamline Elite Meet - Kent Stahly Relays. This event consists of a 100-meter race for 5th and 6th graders attending St. Paul schools, and includes both a preliminary race and a finals event. This year we are also incorporating a wheelchair division! The goal of this event is to promote fitness and athletics at school, as well as giving youth a chance to compete and visit a college campus!
We are inviting St. Paul schools to select the top male and female runners and wheelers, from both the 5th and 6th grades. The chosen students from each school will have the opportunity to race in the Fastest Kid! Race on April 24th. Event participants will receive free admission for themselves and for 2 parents/guardians and a free t-shirt. This event will require parent involvement with transportation and attendance at the Hamline Elite Meet.
